New Future. There is a saying that if one keep on doing what you have been doing, you will keep on getting what you have been getting. So if you want to create a new, different future, you have to do things new and differently. This is what this site is all about creating a new future, instead of creating the same future. Our political, economic, and social systems are not working and not sustainable. This is on all levels, from the family, to the community and to the nation. This site is not about analysing how bad everything is, but focusing on solutions, and how good everything can be. One does not win by fighting the old, but by creating something new and better, that replaces the old.
I have a dream. A place where people can live in harmony with each other. A place where we as a community can meet most of our own needs. A place where we can live independently, but also interdependently. Where we will have privacy, but also community. We will not fight the existing system but create an alternative better system. Where we will be better able to meet our needs and each others needs. This is my dream.
This website will be about how to practically create this in reality.
Some of the main areas that will be dealt with is:
- Energy
- Water
- Security
- Shelter
- Finances
- Community
This is still work in progress, but the idea is to experiment, research, and implement. To see what works and what does not. Then to develop a model that can be replicated in other areas.
